Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, implementing diagnostic tests, and crafting individualized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic medical conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians, in accordance with your credentialing
• Providing education to patients and their families on illness prevention, wellness strategies, and effective disease management

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the commitment to achieve within 90 days)
