We are seeking an experienced OTR Tractor-Trailer Driver to transport polyurethane foam products to customers throughout our network. This position is a great opportunity for professional drivers who enjoy being on the road while still being home most weekends. We are looking for a safety-focused, dependable driver with a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
Driver Responsibilities
· Comply with all DOT regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
· Operate tractors and trailers in a courteous, safe, and professional manner at all times.
· Safely deliver cargo and products to designated customers.
· Represent Future Foam as a professional company advocate and ambassador when interacting with customers and the public.
· Perform primarily drop-and-hook deliveries, with occasional assistance unloading products at customer locations.
· Safely lift and handle a minimum of 50 pounds.
· Immediately report mechanical issues or failures involving tractors or trailers to the appropriate manager.
· Conduct daily inspections of the tractor and all trailers at the beginning and end of each shift.
· Report any vehicle damage or safety concerns to the Traffic or Plant Manager.
· Immediately report all accidents, regardless of severity or fault, to the Traffic or Plant Manager.
Job Requirements
· Valid CDL-A and required DOT qualifications.
· Clean driving record.
· Minimum 1 year of CDL experience required.
· Ability to comply with DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
· Flexibility to work overtime, including occasional weekends.
· Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
· Strong communication, dependability, and customer service skills.
